The Promise of the “One-Click” Fix

These widgets—known as accessibility overlays—promise to automatically scan your site and fix WCAG violations on the fly. They add a little wheelchair icon to the corner of your page, allowing users to adjust font sizes, change colors, or mute animations.

It sounds like a dream. But in reality, accessibility overlays are a lawsuit magnet.


1. Overlays Don’t Prevent Lawsuits (They Attract Them)
